Two weeks ago some of our more adventurous members had the fortune to visit the Lyman Estate Green House in Waltham. Thanks to Rachel Oglesby who took all these pictures, we can sample some of the beauty they enjoyed.

Sold out of birdbaths and Rosemary plants at the the Historical Society House Tour

We would like to thanks our members, Mary Anne Jordy for creating the beautiful bird bath, Mary Ann Piasecki for her idea to nurture and sell Rosemary plants for the holidays, to all the members that grew the plants and to Maria Day and Margaret Murphy for doing a wonderful job selling everything.

Modern Mass Arrangement

Under Lois Frampton’s guidance a number of us learned how to do what’s called a Modern Mass Arrangement.

As you can see, they were all different and very dramatic.

  It was a fun way to spend the afternoon and the arrangement is holding up really well.
